Maryan Zahid Wins Humanitarian Award

Afghan Women On The Move’s Founder, Maryam Zahid is extremely honored to have received a 2022 NSW Humanitarian Award in recognition of her humanitarian and advocacy role though social media.

2022 NSW Humanitarian Awards “exemplify values vital to the wellbeing of our State” – NSW Governor. The 2022 Awards was presented officially by Patron of STARTTS, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, in an official ceremony which took place at Government House, Sydney last night.

Congratulations to the inspiring Awardees of this year's NSW Humanitarian Awards, all of whom have made an exceptional positive contribution towards refugee issues in New South Wales in their respective fields.
